Recently I was at a busy street corner and offered to escort, for a price, a
blind man in a wheel chair across the street. He refused my offer. He said
he needed the money for groceries. He crossed on his own, and got run over
by a bus. After he got out of the hospital, he asked me to help him,
"at double the rate I might add heh heh"
