Sorry, reading this now I see I screwed the whole sentence. hahaha...
Where you read:

...I�ve been told this server is going to host DNS and MAIL services...

It should read:

...I�ve been told this (external, public www) server is going to host DNS
and MAIL services too.

So, the external machine will host WWW, DNS and MAIL. While the one on the
trusted network will have the private WWW. That�s  it.
