Lana,
I have never used them on a production environment - so you may not trust
me - but at least in theory the PIX has a big advantage, it is not based on
a general purpose operating system as Windows NT.
>From my point of view, that means you have a more secure product because it
doesn't have ALL the security flaws inherent to its underlying operating
system. That is, it tends to have less flaws since it is based on a
dedicated operating system and not on a general puporse one.
I think it will also translate in performance for the same reason.
