Newer to firewall. Would you please teach me in plain language(is it
possible? I have some working knowledge of TCP/IP.) (if possible
examples, in plain language) the following concepts?

IP forwarding,
Port monitoring,
Source routing,
ICMP redirect,
IP spoofing,
Dynamic routing.
