I just want to point out that there is no requirement that the To: or cc:
headers contain the list address. Those headers are controlled by the
originator of the message. It is possible to get a message delivered to the
mailing list without even using those headers (the delivery is controlled by the
rfc821 envelope).
>From the headers of messages received from the list:
Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Precedence: bulk
These are tacked on by the list software itself. This is what should be use for
any filtering or sorting that you want to do. (I use them myself.)
