Dynamic Port Allocation

I am trying to get a PASV FTP session (dynamic port allocation) working on a
AltaVista Firewall98 setup. I am having problems getting the data connection
working properly. Do I use a combination of proxy settings (transparent or
not) and packet filtering to make this work? Is there anyone out there that
knows and supports Firewall 98?
