Hello,

Does anyone out there have experience with Sun Directory Services 3.1?
Can SDS prevent the encrypted password from being grabbed via yp*
commands for non-root users, similar to hardened NIS? How does it work
as a NIS replacement?

Also (and more relevant to a security mailing list), how are the RADIUS
capabilities relative to other products, specifically forwarding RADIUS
requests to other RADIUS servers that are non-SDS (i.e., NT)? Does it
support MS-CHAP or only PAP/CHAP?

The doc is sparse on this product (to be kind) and, upon contacting Sun
Platinum services directly, they don't seem terribly confident that they
can find much on SDS either (!). Thanks for the help.
