Yes you can implement IP over token-ring LAN's, and as far as I can think of
there are no constraints.
You just need to bear in mind that when token-ring says it's 16 MB, it
really is 16MB, which can kind of catch you after you've been using ethernet
that says it's 10MB, but is actually nearer 6MB
IMHO token-ring is by far the better technology, it's just not as cheap !!
