No need for client software is a big win! Many VPN vendors expect
customers to not only distribute their client software, but to track
its licenses -- and over the kind of geographic dispersion that often
creates the demand, this is no end of hassle. A few enlightened
vendors provide a "site" client license with their server, but no
client goes that one better.
