Not sure about hpux, but I know if you use any kind of outbound
authentication on NT, it slows down http considerably.  Are you using any
type of authentication?

Can anyone give me some tuning help with raptor?  I'm running raptor 4.0 on
hpux and it seems that my machine is having problems with the httpd deamon.
The machine has idle time and doesn't seem overloaded, but the throughput
for http and https is terrible.  Any suggestions.
