Dear colleague,
As far as I know from my experience, Firewall-1 from Checkpoint
Technologies is designed to run on Sparc Sun machines or on I386 processors
based machines.
The official documentation from Ceckpoint says :
On Windows platforms :
Pentium, Windows NT or Windows 9x
20 Mbbytes of disk space minimum,
16 Mbytes minimum
2 or 3 NIC interfaces.
We use here :
Dell Optiplex GXA, 4 Gb disk, 124 Mbytes RAM,
OS : NT Server 4.0 SP5
3 Nic Interfaces from 3Com (1 integrated chip Fast Etherlink, 2 combo cards
2c509)
Is that sufficient ? I do have also requirements for Sun Sparc based
systems, HP PA-Risc 700/800, RS 6000 and Power PC.
