They will need to know NT, Compaq, PC Architecture, a nice to have would be
MCSE. They need to understand how the hardware architecture impacts the
functionality of the applications. It would be nice if they understood
things down to the chip level.

- 5-7 years of experience
Typical Responsibilities:
Analyze current architecture for performance issues
Manage/support operations of existing environment
Prepare trade/industry analysis and negotiate load/stress testing
vendor support
Manage/Support testing vendor for stress evaluation, producing a
stress level report for the current system.
Recommend best alternative to meet client
