CheckPoint's VPN-1 is a bundle of their FireWall-1 software and the
accompanying Encryption Module. Both portions of the software are on the
same cd and it is a matter of having the correct cert key and subsequent
license string to utilize the VPN portion. Contact your reseller and ask
them which you bought - FireWall-1 or VPN-1.

Subject: Checkpoint VPN-1

This may be an amazingly stupid question, but I have been unable to
find the correct info.

Is Checkpoint VPN-1 a COMPLETELY seperate package from Firewall-1 or
is it just a matter of the license?

The reason I ask is that I have been trying to get the vpn to work to
no avail. It seems to me that there should be a seperate piece of
software (or I'm just confused)

I know this is a bit vague, but if anyone has any info, it would be
greatly appreciated.

thanks
