Help please,
I'm setting up a DMZ line on a SUN BOX. I'm able to ping all of my interfaces and the
router where this DMZ lay, but when setting up the FW-1 rule base...it seems that any
rule I choose doesn't do what I want it to do, nor it will {telnet, ping, ftp} to any of
my destinations.
What I have seen, is that when I do a trace route...it tells me what router it goes to
and the interface of my first NIC, but it "timesout"
the third time. Why is that?
My question to anyone that can help me is, Which statement is best so that this DMZ
link can read through my router too, the first NIC through the my third NIC?
What should be my source and destination?
Because what I have now is, (for source...Network--10.0.0.0 sub-to 255.255.0.0 and
(for destination...Workstation--192.168.13.x sub-to 255.255.255.0).
Thank you,
Casmier
