Hi,
Sorry for my poor English...
I would like to chech the security level of the following infrastructure for
receiving mails from Internet:
A first public SMTP server is located on the DMZ and receives all the mails
coming from Internet.
The primary internal and private SMTP server is located on the Intranet and
sends every 30 minutes an ESMTP request to the external SMTP server to retrieve
the stored mails.
With this solution, I hope I will not have to make a hole in my Firewall
configuration accepting a connection from the DMZ to the Intranet.
Is it true? Is this solution really secure?
I'm waiting for your comments.
Tx
