You can send NetMeeting through the firewall. You have to open the port
for it (you can get the #'s from the vendor or the rfc's). You should
also check for the latest NetMeeting patches. If only one system at your
end will be used (a conference room computer, etc.), you might consider
setting it up outside the firewall temporarily. Even if you change the
firewall settings, that should only be temporary (save a copy of the old
& new config files to save time and aggravation in the future). One last
tip: all copies of NetMeeting MUST be the same version or they won't talk
to each other!
