Hello! I was hoping you could me a bit more about Port 0. Does this port
actually exist or is it for masking somehow? I got a BO scan through a
Port 0 and am confused if this is actually a Port or was that scan
masked somehow?
I also had a question regarding so-called 'negative' ports: There was an
article through ZDNET not to long ago and it described hackers using
some kind of stealth whatever and coming up with negative ports. There
wasn't much on how it was done so I was hoping you could let me know if
you've ever heard of this. I subscribe to a security and firewalls
newsletter (GNAC) and posed the same question there. Since I'm on cable
there are umpteen times a day that my firewall logs unauthorized entries
and then I have to go and chase those intruders back to the ISPs.
