I'm really new to this and actually I'm addressing this question to the list on
behaflf of a friend who is interested in setting up an e-commerce bussiness.
He is wondering if he should use a router or a firewall to protect his LAN and
servers. He has no idea (and neither have I) what kind of hardware is required
(CPU power, memory, disk space network cards, etc). He is oriented towrds Microsoft NT
Server, so, is there any firewall application in the Microsoft family
products?
I'm very sorry if this posting is completely off-topic, but I didn't know where
else to address these questions.
