Hello, I am searching for some ideas and was hoping someone may have a good/reasonable solution to this problem. I need to allow file transfer between 2 NT servers. The connection requires the FTP to pass through a firewall and both servers are on separate segments protected by the firewall (neither are on an Internet DMZ segment). At a minimum, I would like the passwords sent to be encrypted but have not be able to locate any NT FTP servers that do this. I am considering setting up an IPSec or PPTP tunnel between the servers, but would like the access to be restricted to only pass FTP traffic over this tunnel. If the tunnel is end to end, I have to pass the protocol (50,51 for IPSec or whatever the PPTP protocol is) at the firewall level and can not do any restrictions at that point. I would prefer to use IPSec, but would need a client that also had a filtering option for the tunnel endpoints on the NT servers... We have thought of a few other options, but they are not very neat solutions. It looks like SSH servers for NT are in development, but not an option at this point in time (that I am aware of). Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you, Kathleen _______________________ Kathleen M.
