After reading a posting about BlackICE not detecting outgoing traffic if you already had a trojan on your machine, I queried their support team about preexisting trojans. I got the following reply. "Dear Customer, If you have a trojan on your machine and then install BlackICE onto your machine it will protect you from getting anymore incoming traffic having to do with that. What BlackICE will do is recognize the trojan going out but will not allow any information to be sent into it. As if it is invisible. Also, their are no issues with that kind of a network.
