I appreciate the
certain inherant fear with instant messaging programs (ICQ and AOL
especially).
But MSN Messenger
doesnt have all the file sharing stuff etc of these, and uses 1863
solely.
If we open 1863
outbound, are there any knows exploits or concerns with this
?
The only comments I
found were, inbound ports bad and bandwidth.
I can't believe this
will use much bandwidth and it doesn't require an inbound port set
up.
Has anyone else
spent time on this ?
