Do look at the gnutella.org webpage for reference, but on top of that have a look at http://www.surfy.com/page/nut.php3. This page can do gnutella searches and users can download files as normal HTTP traffic, so I beleive you would have to monitor this a totally different way. You may want to simply block this site and others like it.
