If you're looking for a firewall appliance with good performance at a
reasonable price, I'd suggest you have a look at the Nokia boxes. They use
Checkpoint FW-1, have decent management features, hot swappable backplane,
etc.

The last I recall, the top of the line model was about $20,000.

Subject: 3Com firewall

hello,

I am thinking of purchasing a firewall for my Internet Business. I have read
information about Cisco PIX etc. but now I have come up with a 3com Firewall
DMZ. An office connect firewall which is much more affordable then a Cisco
PIX. My only concerne is that I do not know if it is any good. There is not
much information about this firewall, because it is a relatively new
product.

Does anybody have any experience with it or does anybody have information
regarding the capabilities of this firewall.

Best regards,
