Hi All,

I'm trying to route smb through a packetfiltering firewall built on RH Linux
6.2 using the IPCHAINS facility.

The firewall has 2 interfaces - one on a private 192.168.0.x subnet and the
other on a real-ip subnet. Using a machine on the private (192.168.0.x)
side, I can connect to other smb machines on the real-ip side of the
firewall if I specify the computer name (ie. 'Find Computer' in Windows). I
cannot, however, successfully browse the network neighbourhood on a machine
on the private (192.168.0.x) side and see all the other workgroups and
machines that exist on the real-ip side of the firewall. How do I get this
browsing to work?

Any information appreciated.

Regards,

Scott Pearce
