SCS version 5.0 is actually a very pleasant GUI.  I have not the experience with CP but SCS I have found to be very good for medium size companies.  If you start getting into the larger companies then you need to use multiple FW with each FW handling different traffic (ie mail, http, ftp, etc.)

Sidewinder is based on BSDI 4.1
