In short, no. Firewall-1 will allow you to drop specific defined MIME types,
but you cannot simply block *.vbs Unfortunately, I am not well versed enough
on the specific MIME types to be able to tell you if there is a specific
MIME type for vbs files

A filter like NAV for Firewalls or most others have the
ability to drop attachments.
As far as I know it can't be done with FW-1 alone.
Can it?

I'm in need of assistance.

I need to be able to block email attachments that have .vbs and .shs
extensions on a Check Point firewall.

Any suggestions?
