Look, I hate to be a grumpy old man _way_ before my time but I think we're
seeing a heap more total misses in terms of content relevance.
Far be it from me to make authoritatrian statements to an unmoderated list,
but:
Putting "This is off topic but..." at the top of a message doesn't make it
on topic.
We're here to talk about firewalls. Fine, often that stretches to security
as a tangent. Fair enough.
However, if I wanted to talk about general NT questions I'd join an NT list.
If I wanted to know about Sendmail configs I'd read the batbook or join a
Sendmail list. It's NOT HARD to go and find an appropriate forum for your
question.
I (personally) don't think this list is a helpdesk. A firewalls helpdesk,
maybe...;)
