-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I am having a problem with a Watchguard Firebox 100 that I am trying to solve. As the day wears on FTP connections become increasingly slow to the point where it takes about 10 minutes just to establish a connection or change directories. Traffic from other protocols or services have no problem. Moving outside the firewall and attempting to access the FTP sites that are being tested they connect with no problems There are very few rules defined: some napster denys deny inbound FTP allow outbound deny inbound telnet allow outbound deny inbound ping, allow outbound deny inbound traceroute allow outbound allow all outbound allow only some internal IP addresses to manage the watchguard. I don't know that much about the firewall. This was just given to me to solve because several people have tried to solve the problem and have been unable to come up with any answers (including spending long hours with WatchGuard support). Of course, they did not ask you fine folks.... TIA for any help or pointers. Adam Albrechtas Network Administrator - Senior Web Developer Moneyramp.com Ltd.
