I still think that this is simply a case of a marketing drone
misinterpreting "we use stateful inspection technology, the same
that fw-1 uses" as "we use fw-1 technology".

Why? What are checkpoint's OEM pricing model? Does their
pricing model even _allow_ selling units at $400 apiece,
without resulting in Sonic losing money for every unit
sold?
I think not, but if someone proves me wrong, I'll happily
cease and desist.
