I've done it with Manual IPSec.  As I recall, the documentation on the
SonicWall web site is fairly complete
(ftp://ftp.sonicwall.com/pub/info/FW-1_to_SonicWALL_VPN.pdf).  As I recall,
the only thing I had to change was including the SonicWall firewall object
in the encrypt rule, along with the encrypted networks.

It works okay, as long as you realize the limitation (non-changing 16-byte
key, relatively weak encryption (single DES), no AH).  I wouldn't want to
push highly sensitive data through it.  SonicWall has claimed that v.5.0 of
their code can do IKE with a Checkpoint.  I've not got this to work yet
(lack of time, really).  Better, but it's still single DES.

We would probably sell an awful lot more SonicWalls if they could do
3DES+IKE+Auth with a Checkpoint.

Perhaps if you could be specific about the problems you are having, I could
give you a pointer.
