You're going about it all wrong. At least in my opinion. You're very
likely to make some security people a bit mad at you when you try
to sneak your application through disguised as something else.
I'm always suspicious of traffic that appears to be one thing but is
really something else.
But if you must do it your way, use port 7 and tell them it's a truly
audible ping. (Just kidding)
