Hi everyone!

I'm planning to redirect a port to an internal machine running exchange
server. I'm really wondering how I am getting my mail messages using outlook
2000 when I'm inside the office( private lan). Port 110 is not running, and
not even Imap (143). Does this have something to do with netbios (ports
137,138,139)? I'm asking this so that even if I am connected to another ISP,
all I have to do is to map the ip address of the firewall and since firewall
knows how to get in to the server, I will be able to retrieve my messages.
Actually, I can do it with pop3 but it's not possible now.

Any ideas?

Ronneil
