xdm on firewall

Hi all,

could someone tell me which port do I have to open to let my workstation
running xwin32 to connect to my linux box (firewall with default policy
to deny)? 

I've tried to open port 177 and 6000:6001 on the linux box but without
success. Is there someting more to open?
