without any search and without any knowledge, if you do not know what a 
service is,
stop it. Then one of the following will happen:

- nobody will complain. This means these services are not needed. Then, 
from a security point of
view, it is good to disable them.

- people will complain about services not working: then, you'll have the 
opportunity to learn what
these services are, and ask how they work.

Don't try to leran, try to force people to teach you....
