Checkpoint software on Compaq hardware

Has anyone out there used Checkpoint on Compaq hardware?  Any know issues of
concern?  Am new to checkpoint but have used other hardware firewall
solutions and am currently considering the hardware platform for this new
checkpoint firewall supporting 250 IP on the trusted\internal side.
