Hello all,

I am new to this list and joined primarily because I need some advice/help
establishing a connection to a workstation behind our MS Proxy Server. We
have a client that works from across the country and before we installed our
DSL and Proxy Server, he was able to use PC Anywhere to establish a
connection to his workstation by supplying its IP address. Now that we are
behind the MS Proxy Server and all workstations have non routable IP's, how
can our client connect to his workstation through our proxy server and take
advantage of the DSL. With the DSL came 5 available IP's, I have three left
available, was thinking to assign a real IP address to his workstation, add
that IP to the LAT and (this is where I need help).....let through any
connections asking for that IP. Is my thinking correct or should I think
along different lines? Getting the Proxy Server installed and functional
was step one, this is challenge #2. I have done little research on this
specific topic but I have read that MS Proxy Server has VPN/RAS capabilities
and this is probably where I should be looking. Please advise.....Thanks
for any help.
