I so hope Symantec doesn't mess with Raptor too much. Norton's past history with bundled software has been "Cram it all together on 1 cd and pray it links up...oh and don't bother testing it." Look to any of those Cleensweep type deals with Norton. SYMANTEC IF YOU CAN HEAR ME LEAVE RAPTOR ALONE!!!! <as my prayers go unanswered...> >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: "Crumrine, Gary L" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Carric Dooley ><[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, Ricky Gomez <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, >[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: RE: Raptor Firewall >Date: Thu, 31 Aug 2000 08:48:45 -0700 > >Symantec acquiring Axent Technologies should not change the support >structure that Axent/Raptor has built over the years. in essence compared >to Raptor, Checkpoint is the only firewall company that has not been >acquired in the last few years. >Symantec not only bought Axent Technologies but also acquired their >engineers.
