Greetings,
I had a question about the use of IPChains / IPFilter in a commercial
"firewall" environment. A small company wants to put in a inexpensive Linux
firewall, and asked me if these would be adequate for their usage. They
basically want to block some ports, hide their internal network using
10.0.0.0/8 address scheme, and basically want to make sure it would handle a
T1 or less bandwidth.
Any thoughts, comments, or information any of you would like to provide?
