Intelligent Firewalls for Linux

Does anyone have any information on intelligent firewall software for Linux?
As in, allowing incoming packets related to outgoing streams, etc.?  I
already use portsentry with a 5 minute timed-out ipchains REJECT call to
block scanners temporarily, but I'd like something that 'thinks' a little.
