I got several answers to my question which was basically how to add a route when you are using static NAT. Thanks go to Gary Lee and Paul Haake who pointed me in the right direction. Here is the answer: I was initially following Check Point instructions from the Architecture and Administration manual on page 166 where it shows command syntax for routing static NAT. However, I was trying to route to the firewall's external IP which did not work. I tried various other methods but none worked. In the same manual on page 191 there are instruction for routing on a gateway with two interfaces. I used the route command with the firewall's internal IP and it worked. Again, thanks to everyone who responded. Nadine Langlois - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
