Why don't we collaborate and incorporate your concept into the general idea
of having a firewalls forum site?

I recently purchased firewallreviews.com ; we could use that as a home. The
hosting server is a cold fusion enabled NT box with WS_FTP Pro Server and
IMail capabilites. I own several similar boxes in a small server farm.

I have started to piece together a database to organize products and product
experiences. Mayhaps we could incorporate a section of the website to
handle firewall rules?

Let me know how you think we should proceed. I think this could grow into
quite a nice project.

Very Respectfully,

Michael E. Cummins

Subject: Firewall Rules Database

Just wanting to find out if this is a good idea (or if it already exists I
guess):

What I was thinking of doing was creating a site where people
could list firewall rules for different applications etc. in a non-firewall
specific format so that people could take these rules and apply
them to their firewall thus taking alot of guesswork out...

Anyone have any feedback on this idea or would like to contribute?
