We're deploying a firewall on an ASN router using Nortel Networks
implementation of Checkpoint Firewall-1.
1) Does anyone know of where I could find information regarding the
throuhgput handling capacity of this hardware/software combo, or where I
could find a comparision with other platforms Firewall-1 runs on, and
maybe other information, as well as past experiences with this product.
2) We're thinking of getting the 129bit IP-SEC encryption option. Any
figures on how well it performs and at what speeds ?? Any caveats?
3) Nortel is shifting to Shasta, any pointers to documentation/possible
repercussions on that would be much appreciated also.. thanks again..
