since the problem is related to SMTP, you can "ask" their SMTP server.
An smtp server starts by telling his name. then quit.

once you get the name, nslookup it. you'll see that the address
is correct. so their DNZ reverse zone is incomplete.
this bad in this case, since the host is the primary MX for the domain.
