Yes, it is possible with the PIX.
Have you tried the 525 with GigE interfaces? It should meet your throughput
requirement.
For GigE load balancing I'd suggest you look at the 525 with our recently acquired
ArrowPoint CSS switches. ArrowPoint developed some very nice firewall load balancing
features on their platform.
