As far as I know, Apache is the best webserver. I know that "best" is word 
to use with care
(or not use at all), but you see what I mean. so it clearly should be 
"suitable for your business".

As for weaknesses, there are two points, as for any software:
- Features do come with risk. Apache has many features, and when a piece of 
software is
full of features, you generally don't want to rel on its own security. That 
said, Apache is
globally a good server from a security viewpoint (the same can't be said of 
many webservers...).

- the overall security also depends on the security of the host running the 
software. so, you need
to make sure the host is installed in a way to maximize security.

Note that these are the main motivations for seting up a firewall. so use 
Apache, but set up a firewall
to protect it. And if you have a hoice for the OS, put the Apache on a BSD 
system (FreeBSD, NetBSD,
OpenBSD or BSD/OS) as these are stack-clean OSes.
