My experience with the Netscape Proxy server is the opposite - as long as you don't 
run it on NT. We have 2 Proxies, one on NT the other on AIX. The difference in 
performance and reliability is like night and day. My $.02: if you use Netscape 
products, run them on a *nix. We're migrating completely off of the NT instance as I 
type.

I run this product behind FW-1 and have had 0 problems with the AIX instance and FW-1 
playing nice.

FYI: Netscape was planning to drop the proxy server but now it is back in active 
development (per a conversation with an iPlanet support techie).
