Hi all - I'm having a quirky problem with ssh that perhaps those on this list have seen before: I'm having a strange response from a server that I manage. I ssh to this server from my local workstation. If I'm a normal user on the from workstation, then I get the following: warning: X11 connection requests different authentication protocol: 'MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1' vs. ''. It scrolls across the screen several times a second and continues till I exit the session. However, if I'm root on the local workstation, then there is no problem. I've tried this with other users from other workstations and get the same thing. If your root on the local workstation, then there is no error, but if you come in from a normal user, then you get this message. Any ideas ??? Thanks in advance...Don - [To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe firewalls" in the body of the message.]
