You could build an IMGate box in my sig, and place outside of your
you FW. ISP's who have built IMGate boxes are experiencing 10% to
50% reject rates by IMGate, keeping all that crap out of your mail
server and mailboxes, plus in your case, keeping it all out of your
FW. It also simplifies your FW rules because the IMGate box serves
at a "bastion mail host". IMGate is free and is a concept, totally
unoriginal, and not tied to IMail as a back-en server.
