I have two Netgear RT314 Cable Modem\DSL Routers and they Rock. They have
been very stable. They support PPTP clients outbound and port redirection
inbound for any definable protocol. Excellent Syslog functionality,
including loggin on packet filtering for Matched, not matched, both, or none
on a rule by rule basis. Packet filtering rulesets, six rules per set, 12
possible sets. Sets can be chained together, but care must be maintained to
setup the last rule of the cascading set to check next rule, instead of
forward or drop. This is the only personal use device I found with a console
port, similar to Cisco routers, although it uses a null modem cable instead
of the Cisco proprietary console port cable. The built in 4 port 100/10MB
switch is also a nice feature, many more features than I can list, more info
