I'll second that. Ethereal gets better with every version. I previously used
Sniffer Pro (which I still think is probably the best commercial product)
but ethereal has some nice conversation interface tracking stuff which is
better than Sniffer and the advanced grepping stuff is great.
Ethereal is also has much more vitality in terms of new protocol parsers
etc.
